The University of Amsterdam will host the sixth
Model-based Neuroscience Summer School.
Dates: August 5 – August 9, 2019
Location: University of Amsterdam
Costs: € 400 (early bird) or € 500 (on site; depending on availability of spots)
Application deadline: June 1, 2019
The Summer School will provide participants with hands-on experience in both cognitive modeling using evidence-accumulation models (e.g., diffusion decision model and linear ballistic accumulator) and cognitive neuroscience methods. In addition, the program includes various lectures on model-based decision neuroscience in humans. Following the 5-day Summer School, we also offer participants a 3-day model-based neuroscience BrainHack; see the BrainHack tab for details.

This summer school was initially conceived to accompany the book Forstmann, B.U. & Wagenmakers, E.-J. (Eds.) An introduction to model-based cognitive neuroscience. Springer. Although the lecturers partly differ, the topics covered in the summer school roughly follow the first chapters of this book.
